Clearwater Analytics is looking for a Core Engineer to join its Noida engineering team. This is a full-time, on-site opportunity for experienced software developers who enjoy solving complex backend challenges and creating scalable, user-focused solutions.

In this role, you’ll be part of a collaborative environment where your decisions directly impact the system’s performance and client satisfaction. You will design, build, deploy, and maintain high-quality, production-grade software systems using modern languages like Python, TypeScript, and Rust. The ideal candidate is a curious and driven engineer with a strong foundation in object-oriented programming and architectural design.

You’ll also contribute to the company’s evolving software-as-a-service (SaaS) ecosystem by building robust services that meet both performance and security standards. This role involves close collaboration with teams across development, QA, and product management.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, test, and deploy clean, efficient, and maintainable code.
• Contribute to architectural and design discussions that shape product direction.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth application integration.
• Implement automated testing strategies, including unit and integration tests.
• Lead and mentor new or junior developers to enforce coding standards and quality.
• Diagnose and resolve production-level issues with an analytical and proactive approach.
• Engage directly with client feedback to improve overall software quality and usability.
• Stay current with emerging technologies and development practices.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent.

• Familiarity with Rust and C++ is desirable.
• Strong understanding of database design, data processing, and service integration.
• Experience in financial domain software development is an added advantage.
• Excellent teamwork, communication, and documentation skills.
